AfroFlavor presents “Point of No Return” by Holuwa, a powerful Afro-Hip Hop Rap and conscious Afrobeat song with a bold message and deep emotion. Stream, enjoy, and download the song below.
Point of No Return is not just a title — it is a warning.
In Badagry, the historic Point of No Return was where enslaved Africans took their final steps on their homeland before being forced into the unknown. Today, when I say, “like play like play, they are returning us to the time of Point of No Return,” I am speaking for innocent children, teachers, and families taken by kidnappers — people who may never return if ransom is not paid.
It also speaks to a painful double standard: citizens who complain online can be traced or arrested, yet kidnappers and terrorists who post victims online still spread fear with little visible urgency to stop them.
This is not tribe. This is not religion. This is human life.
Wake up, people. Nothing will change if we keep acting like nothing dey sup.

Lyrics
Wake up, people, because
Those who are supposed to stop
The fire that burns on the mountain
Failed to stop it
It is now getting to our doorstep
One by one
People are living in fear daily, for sure
Nothing will change
If we wake up every morning
And act like nothing dey sup
Wake up, people!
Wake up, people!
Wake up, people!
Kids go to school of some no return
People’s freedom and lives are being stolen
And nothing is done
Government acts like, nothing dey sup
Teachers go to teach, some no return
Like play, like play
They are returning us back
To the time of point of no return
Farmers dem no fit go farm
I tire o o
Je o mo je o mo je o mo
Nothing will change
If we wake up every morning
And act like nothing dey sup
People are scared of being killed
Or being kidnapped
Psychologically down
That’s for sure
Nothing will change
If we act like nothing dey sup!
Nothing will change
Wake up, people!
Kids go to school of some no return
People’s freedom and lives are being stolen
And nothing is done
Government acts like nothing dey sup
Teachers go to teach, some no return
Like play, like play
They are returning us back
To the time of point of no return
Wake up, people, because
Those assigned to quench the fire
Took advantage of it
dem no send
It is now getting to our doorstep
One by one
People are living in fear daily, for sure
Nothing will change
If we act like nothing dey sup
Nothing will change
Wake up, people!
Kids go to school of some no return
People’s freedom and lives are being stolen
And nothing is done
Government acts like nothing dey sup
Teachers go to teach, they no return
Like play, like play
They are returning us back
To the time of point of no return
Dugbe dugbe to mi loke
Dugbe dugbe to mi loke
Dugbe dugbe to mi loke
Dugbe dugbe dugbe to mi loke
To ba ja bo
E go reach everyone
Heaven dey fall
No be one person matter
Ka pa enu po bo le wi
Don’t think you’re spared
They aren’t true Muslims
Don’t think you’re safe
They are not only killing Christians
Alone, hope you know
Terrorism is what they preach
Kids go to school of some no return
People’s freedom and lives are being stolen
And nothing is done
Government acts like nothing dey sup
Teachers go to teach, they no return
Like play, like play
They are returning us back
To the time of point of no return
Kids go to school of some no return
People’s freedom and lives are being stolen
And nothing is done
Government acts like nothing dey sup
Teachers go to teach, they no return
Like play, like play
They are returning us back
To the time of point of no return
Nothing will change
If we act like nothing dey sup!
Wake up, people!
Wake up, people!
Wake up, people!
Before the point of no return!
Before the point of no return!
